William Kenneth Smith, age 80 of 476 First Street, Lynch, KY, passed from this life on Friday, March 9, 2018, at the UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
He was born on September 7, 1937, unto the union of the late William and Emma Mae Jarber McKinley. He believed in the Methodist faith and was retired from International Harvester, a member of the Shriners Organization and the Eastern Kentucky Social Club.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Smith, son, Kendell Smith, daughter, Dannette Blackmore, sisters, Shirley Pearson, Patsy Smith, Wilma Smith, Pauline Christman, Betty Smith, Gearldine Smith and Jane Smith.
He leaves to mourn his passing, sons, William Smith, JR and Victor Shorters both of Chicago, Illinois, daughter, Kennetha McClain of Horn Lake, Mississippi, sisters, Ann Allen of Lynch, KY, Maxine Ray of Chicago, Illinois and Emma Jean Saunders of Hendersonville, Nevada, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive.
