William Hatfield, age 66 of Cumberland, KY, entered eternal peace on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.
He was born on March 4, 1955, in Lynch, Kentucky. He believed in the Pentecostal faith, was a retired coal miner and had served on the Scotia Mine Search and Rescue Team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and most of all his grandchildren. He was a wonderful man with a big heart. He will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Mae Hatfield, sister, Barbara Shelton.
He leaves to mourn his passing, father, William Pierce Hatfield, his devoted wife, Donna Henry Hatfield, sons, Brandon Hatfield of Cumberland, KY, William Donald Hatfield of Somerset, Kentucky, brothers, Ricky Joe (Linda) Hatfield of Linefork, Kentucky, Dennis (Miranda) Hatfield of Berea, Kentucky, three grandsons, Tyler Jason, Conner and Damitri Hatfield, a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Blair officiating with burial following.
The Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expense.
