Victor Cooke, age 67 of Lynch, Kentucky, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
He was born on December 6, 1956, to the late William and Nettye Bea Harris Cooke.
He had worked as a coal miner at various places and was a member of the Rising Star Baptist Church. He loved music, loved to cook and cherished time with family.
Victor had an outgoing personality and was a jokester by nature. He loved making people laugh, but he had a serious side, and would help anyone in need. He always put others before himself. He was a kind, loving son, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather that shall be missed.
He is also preceded in death by his brothers, William Cooke, Jr. and Curtis Cooke.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his companion, Wilma Massey, daughters, Whitney Mimes, Candice Mimes, Victoria Robinson, Quanikwa Massey, sons, Roderick Benson, Donald Massey, Jr., brothers, Johnny Ray, James, Jacque Cooke, sisters, Ella Ruth Edwards, Jacquelyn Brannon, Deborah Daniels, Victoria Lee, grandchildren, Jacob, Jaden, Jason and Jaliana Collins, William Austin, Tavian Mallory, Ja’liyah Robinson, Brayden and Gianna Massey, Kashten and Kaisen Lewis, a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at the Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 409 1st Street, Lynch, KY, beginning at 1 p.m.
