Thomas Andrew Sheback

Thomas Andrew Sheback, age 86, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital in Harlan, Kentucky.

 Tom was a lifelong resident of Lynch, having been born there on February 25, 1932.  He was the son of the late Andrew and Margaret Sheback.  He was a retired United Mine Worker having worked for US Steel and Arch Mineral for forty-three years.  He was a Lynch High School graduate and was proud of his years playing football as a Lynch Golden Bulldog. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Vida (Turner) Sheback; sons, Tim Sheback and Jim Jackson; daughter Robbie Madden and his sister, Margaret Sheback.

 He is survived by his son, Tom (Wanda) Sheback of Berea, Kentucky and daughter, Mary (Johnny) Chapman of Huntington, WV as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
