Theresa King

Theresa King, age 59 of Cumberland, Kentucky, passed from this life on June 15, 2017. She was born on July 30, 1957, unto the union of Lawrence & Juanita Ray Woodard. She was a graduate of Jenkins High School Class of 1975, a registered nurse for over thirty years, former volunteer member of the Tri-City Rescue Squad and most recently, a librarian at the Rebecca Caudill Library in Cumberland, Kentucky. She had a wonderful smile and great personality. She loved pretty flowers and helping others when in need. She was a lady that gave to so many in her life. She believed in God and loved her son greatly.

She is preceded in death by her father Lawrence Woodard.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Juanita Woodard of Johnson City, Tennessee, son, Phillip King of Harlan, Kentucky, sister, Debbie Stewart of Johnson City, Tennessee and former husband, Phillip King, SR of Cumberland, KY, a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 20th, 2017, in the Chapel of Cumberland Valley Funeral Home in Cumberland, KY from 6 – 8 p.m.
