Tammy Faulkner, age 56 of Cumberland, Kentucky departed this world on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio unto the union of John and Shirley Witt Faulkner.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley, and sisters, Kimberly and Penny, also Israel Torres Gonzalez, whom she considered a son.
Tammy had worked most of her life in the Healthcare profession as a Certified Nursing Assistant until her health declined. She was a Christian who believed in “Paying it Forward.” She was known for helping young people, when they needed a safe, warm place to stay, she always provided and if hungry, she prepared a warm meal, as she was known for being a wonderful cook. Tammy loved to swim, spend time at the lake and make wonderful love-filled memories with her family and friends.
She wore many hats throughout her short life, but her most favorite was being a mother and grandmother. She has left a legacy of love. A most fitting scripture that comes to mind,
2 Timothy 4:7-8: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
She leaves to cherish her memory, father, John Faulkner, daughter, Nicholynn Faulkner, sons, Jesse Faulkner and Jeremy Peugh all of Cumberland, KY, brothers, Rob Faulkner of North Carolina and John K. Faulkner of Florida, grandchildren, Allorah and Izzabella Peugh, & Aubree Eads, Nephew, Johnny Faulkner, nieces, Adria Faulkner, Tayler Faulkner, and Kim Palmer, special friends she considered family, Brooke Eads, Austin Salyer and Billy Brown, a host of other relatives and adopted family members.
