Sherry Lynn Johnson, age 74, of Cumberland, Kentucky, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 31, 2024, at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Audrey Morris Nease. She had worked many years as a cook for Charlotte’s Hoagie Shop and was a devoted member of the Cumberland Pentecostal Church. Sherry loved attending services and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Sherry was a delightful person. She never met a stranger and enjoyed good conversation. She would visit with the residents of the local nursing home, just because she cared. She was a wonderful cook. She was loved greatly and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Douglas Anthony Johnson, brothers, David Nease and twins, Larry and Darrell Nease, sister, Linda Kaye Stidam.
