Sandra K. Griffith-Fox, age 63 of Thornton, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born on July 24, 1959, unto her late parents, James and Mabel Johnson in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She believed in the Church of Christ faith, enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, reading, canning, cooking, and spending time with her family. Sandy, as most called her, was a loving lady. She had a bright personality, very outgoing and loved to make people laugh. She had worked as a cook and cashier at various places in her life. She may be gone from this world, but never from our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Rex Johnson, and sister, Monek Hutton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Stephen Fox, sons, James (Misty) Griffith, Stephen Fox and Fiancé, Autumn Mullins, daughters, Christy (David) Collins, Tabitha (Anthony) Richmond, sister, Gwen Johnson, special friends, Margaret Rudd, Billy “Buddy” Bates, grandchildren, Paige Brown, Taylor Napier, Taner Collier, Tyler Collins, Skylar Griffith, Jepatha Griffith, Chrisitan Griffith, Brody Griffith, Uriah Richmond, Owen Richmond, great grandchildren, Arieana Brown, Remington Brown, Zoey Brown, Brooke Brown, a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the Wright-Collier Cemetery in Goose Creek, KY with Brother Oscar Collins officiating.
