Ruby (Hooker) Plowman

Ruby Plowman, age 87, formerly of Whitesburg, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father
on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at her residence in Cumberland with her loving family by her side.

She was born on May 12, 1933, unto the union of the late Lawrence and Mary Wilson Hooker
in Leslie County, Kentucky.

Ruby had worked in sales until her retirement and was a member of the
Cumberland Missionary Baptist Church.  Ruby enjoyed her daily walks thru
the neighborhood when her health permitted.  She always had a smile and never met a stranger.
She will be sadly missed.

Ruby leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Barney G. Plowman of Cumberland, son; Jeffery G. Plowman of Lebanon, Tennessee; brother, Marshall Hooker of Slemp, Kentucky; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and other family and friends.

All Services will be Private.
