Roger Deal

Roger Deal, age 65, of Cumberland, KY, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, May 30, 2020, at the
Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky, following a brief illness.  

He was born on September 17, 1954, unto the union of the late Russel and Luvina Hornsby Deal.  
Roger was known for his acts of kindness, always helping his neighbors or anyone in need.
He was a member of the Blair Pentecostal Church, where he enjoyed worshipping and loving the Lord.

Roger is preceded in death by his sisters, Reda Turner, Susie Burke, brothers, Lloyd, James,
Freddy, Teddy and Larry Deal.

He leaves to mourn his passing, brothers, Ricky (Debbie) Deal of Cumberland, KY,
Randy (Debra) Deal of Cumberland, Kentucky, Joe (Jeanette) Deal of Benham, Kentucky, a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Preacher Phillip Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.
