Rev. Leslie "Magoo" Lee, JR, age 68, of Pleasant Drive in Harlan, KY, passed from this life on Thursday, June 08, 2017, after a long illness at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.

He was born on November 30, 1948, unto the union of the late Leslie, SR and Anlis Lee in Lynch, KY. He was a Vietnam Veteran, who served in the United States Air Force. He was a former devoted Pastor of The Goode Temple A.M.E. Zion Church in Lynch, KY. He preached his life by the way he lived……for God! He was also a graduate of the University of Las Vegas. He was known by several nicknames, such as Mann and Magoo. He was famous for his barbecue. He had a specific saying about it, "Best Barbecue in the Mountains of Kentucky, It's Good on Everything, except Cornflakes, and that's Only Because Nobody has Tried It Yet!"

He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lee.

He leaves to mourn his passing, wife Rev. Angelia Brooks Lee of Harlan, KY, two sons, Leslie Lee III of Leesburg, VA, Kevin Jenkins of Houston, TX, three daughters, Celia Aynlis Lee & Melanie Winston both of Leesburg, VA, Angel Brooks of Harlan, KY, two sisters, Debbie Wilson of Lawrenceville, GA, Linda Wilson of Indianapolis, IN, four grandchildren: Kala Jenkins of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Terreca Wright of Jersey City, NJ, Alex & Chase Winston both of Leesburg, VA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, June 11th, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Lynch, KY.
