Pastor Donald McKnight of Cloverlick, Kentucky, departed his earthly home and entered the Kingdom of Heaven, on Friday, December 6, 2019, at his residence with his loving family at his side. He was 81 years young and was the son of the late Elmer and Ethel Smith McKnight.
Donald professed Christ at an early age and later became Pastor of the Cloverlick Freewill Baptist Church, where he served as Pastor for the past fifty-two Years. He maintained his occupation of Servant of the Lord, preaching and teaching the Gospel. He loved spending time with all his family.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved the outdoors and had a special appreciation for God’s creations. He had a personality and a laugh that made anyone smile. He was a devoted, loving man that will be missed by a multitude of people.
He is preceded in death by his wife and soul mate, Patricia, sisters, Thelma McKnight, Wilma McKnight, Gladys Bush, brothers, David, Bob, Bill and Carlos McKnight.
He leaves to celebrate his memory, son, Donnie Ray McKnight, JR of Partridge, KY, daughters, Debra Walters of Cloverlick, KY, Donna Hood of Guntown, Mississippi, Peggy Maxwell of White Pine, Tennessee and Ramona McKnight of Cloverlick, KY, brothers, Jerry McKnight of Cumberland, KY and Eddie McKnight of Montgomery, Alabama, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
