Omedia Rowe

Omedia Rowe, age 69 of Cumberland, KY, passed from this life on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born on May 14, 1951, unto the union of the late, Otto and Maggie Couch Johnson.   She was a lifelong resident of this area, a believer in the Pentecostal faith and a member of the Tri-City Pentecostal Church, where she attended until her health declined.  She had a lively spirit and wonderful smile.  She will be missed by all.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Rowe, brothers, Henry Hammonds, Otto "Junior" Johnson,  nephew, Lee Everett Hammonds, sister, Elizabeth Myers.  

Omedia leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, Special Nephew and caregiver, Rev. Billy (Gina) Lewis of Benham, Kentucky, Nephews; Henry Hammonds, John Hammonds, James Hammonds, David Lively, Carmen Lewis, Christopher Gene Lewis, Nieces; Patricia Hammons, Judy Bolling, Maggie Hammonds, Nancy Hammonds, Etta Hammonds, Becky Hammonds, Great Nephew, Christopher Lewis, Great Niece, Katelyn Hall, special friend, Willie Banks.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the Tri-City Pentecostal Church from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with Funeral Services beginning at 12 noon, Interment will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery at Hiram, KY.
