Natasha L. Cornett

Natasha L. Cornett, age 37 of Cumberland, Kentucky, gained her angel wings on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born unto the union of the late Richard Earl and Mary Etta Cornett.   She is preceded in death by her niece, Sara Elisabeth Daflucas.  

“Tosha,” as most called her, was a shy girl with a heart of gold.   She would give someone the shirt off her back if they were in need.  Tosha had a smile that would light up the darkest room and a laugh that warmed your heart.  She was a pure joy to be around.   She loved the Lord and believed in the Baptist faith.  She had worked for the Rebecca Caudill Library as a Librarian assistant.   She was a girly girl, who loved to shop, and get her nails done.  She was the calm in the storm when things got tough.  Her days of suffering on this earth may be over, but her life anew is just beginning in Heaven. 
 

She leaves to cherish her memory, sister, Kellie (Matthew) Daflucas and brother, Jared (Danielle) Cornett, several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Sandhill Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Jimmy Jenkins officiating.

Burial will follow in the Henry Cornett Family Cemetery in Gordon, KY.
