Millie Halcomb

Millie Halcomb, age 69, of 17626 Hwy 522, Cumberland, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on Monday, June 15, 2015, after a long illness.
She was born on September 20, 1945, unto the union of the late Saints Elmo & Gladys Gibson Holland in Pinetop, Kentucky. She believed in the Baptist faith and was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by husband, Harold Halcomb, sister, Mageline Calton and grandson, Jackie Cornett....
She leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Carl Eugene & Wallace Halcomb both of Cumberland, Kentucky, daughter, Loretta Shepherd of Cumberland, Kentucky, four brothers, Jimmy Holland of Cumberland, James Jay Holland of Lynch, KY, David Holland of Pinetop, KY, & George “Hoot” Holland of Cumberland, KY, three sisters, Spicie Shields of Cumberland, KY, Edna Burton of Partridge, KY and Abbie Gail Franza of Detroit, Michigan, nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren and a special friend, Libby Cornett of Cumberland, KY.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with Funeral services following at 12 noon.
Burial will follow in the Halcomb Family Cemetery at Totz, KY.
