Mary Etta Cornett

Mary Etta Cornett, age 59, of Cumberland, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky.
Mary was born unto the union of the late Arnie and Pearlie Eldridge Cornett in Lynch, Kentucky.   She was a loving wife to the late Richard Earl Cornett, who passed on February 21, 2021.  She was a member of the Hurricane Gap Baptist Church.
 

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Elisabeth Daflucas, brother, Henry Cornett, sister, Elsie Cornett.

She leaves to honor and cherish her memory, three wonderful children;  Jared (Danielle) Cornett of Cumberland, KY, Natasha Cornett of Cumberland, Kentucky, Kellie (Matthew) Daflucas of Lynchburg, Virginia, brothers;
Owen Cornett of Partridge, KY, Lawrence Cornett of Indianapolis, Indiana, Hargus Cornett of Cumberland, KY, Allen Cornett and Cody Cornett both of Gordon, KY, sisters;  Eliza Shepherd of Linefork, KY, Millie Cornett and Freda Boggs both of Somerset, KY, Brenda Ray of Ashville, North Carolina, Martha Coots of Harrogate, Tennessee, Marie Deal of Benham, KY, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6 P.M. on  Monday, April 19, 2021, at Hurricane Gap Baptist Church in Gordon, KY and last until the Funeral Hour of 11 A.M. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  Brother Clyde Bentley will officiate services.
Burial will follow in the Henry Cornett Family Cemetery at Gordon, KY.   Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.

Anyone planning on attending is asked to wear a mask or some form of facial covering, practice social distancing and follow all other CDC and State recommendations.
