Lutrella (Whitaker) Lewis

Lutrella Lewis, age 81, of Gordon, Kentucky, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven, Friday, July 23, 2021, at her residence with family by her side.
Lutrella is the daughter of the late Charlie and Bertha Cornett  Whitaker.  She was the loving wife of the late Pastor Herbert Lewis. She believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of the Sandhill Baptist Church in Cumberland, Kentucky.

Lutrella loved spending time working in her flower gardens, feeding, and watching all the birds that visited.   She was known for her ability to grow the most beautiful, large, and colorful creeping phlox.  She was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, and friend.  Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed dearly.

She leaves to carry on her memory, daughters, Donna Sue Brown of Cumberland, Kentucky, Sherry Diane Cornett of Gordon, Kentucky, sons, Herbert Allen Lewis and Tommy Duane Lewis both of Gordon, Kentucky, brothers,  Denny, and David Whitaker, sisters,  Faye Mason, and Juanita Ferguson, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren also survive.

In following with Mrs. Lewis' wishes:  visitation, service and burial will all be Private.
