Lucille Brown, age 70, of Cumberland, Kentucky entered into her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky.
She was born in Magoffin County unto the union of the late Morgan and Bessie Porter Joseph. She believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the
Tri-City Pentecostal Church. She had worked at the Rebecca Caudill Library in Cumberland, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Brown, son, Elmer Dennis Brown, sisters, Pam Joseph, and Sherry Slusher.
Lucille leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, daughters, Angela Pendleton of Partridge, KY, Tracy Brown Cox, Leian Nantz, Louan Brown and Jessica Sergent all of Cumberland, Kentucky, brothers, Donald, Douglas, David and Danny Slusher all of Salyersville, Kentucky, sisters, Carol Boggs of Cumberland, Kentucky, Sylvia Marshall and Tammy Slusher both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Paula Joseph and Vickie Joseph both of Houston, Texas and Cynthia Joseph of Wyoming, fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the Brown residence-407 West Sandhill Road, Cumberland, KY, beginning at 3 p.m. with Brother Billy Lewis officiating.
Cumberland Valley Funeral Home is honored to serve the Brown Family.
