Leonard Bloomer Jr.

Leonard Bloomer, JR, age 71 of Cumberland, KY passed from this life on Thursday, May 4th, 2017, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.

He was born on March 21, 1946, unto the union of the late Leonard SR and Elva Baker Bloomer.
He is preceded in death by his niece, Melissa Cress Nease and great niece, Jessica Halcomb.
He leaves to mourn his passing, sister, Maxine (Clifford) Halcomb of Cumberland, KY, nephews, Clifford (Patricia) Halcomb, Ricky (Margaret) Halcomb, James (Christy) Halcomb, Michael Halcomb and Kenneth Halcomb all of Cumberland, Kentucky, nieces, Debra (Jim) Cress of New Tazewell, TN, Tammy (Doug) Cheek of Tazewell, TN, Angela (David) Bishop of Nicholasville, KY, Marsha Boggs of Middlesboro, KY, Joanna (Mikey) Halcomb of Calhoun, GA and Edna (Howard) Qualls of Florida and best friend Clifford Halcomb, SR.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Central Baptist Church in Cumberland, KY.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 8, 2017, at 11 a.m. from the church with Rev. Roger Colinger officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery in Cumberland, KY
