Lakweasha Marchell Estes

Lakweasha Marchell Estes, age 23, of Cumberland, KY died suddenly in a tragic motor vehicle accident on Friday, September 18, 2020, in Benham. Kentucky.

She was born on April 29, 1997, in Harlan, Kentucky.  She was a graduate of Harlan High School, where she played softball, attended the Harlan County Boys and Girls Club and Club 180. 
Lakweasha was a waitress and cook at the Pizza Hut in Cumberland, Kentucky, and had recently been accepted by the En Vogue Modeling and Talent Agency in Miami, Florida.

Lakweasha is preceded in death by her special friend, whom she loved dearly, Christopher Cress.

She leaves to mourn her passing, Mother, Jaime Estes of Cumberland, KY, Father, James McMillian of Harlan, KY, six brothers, James, Noah, Issaih, Lukaz, Myshya McMillian all of Harlan, KY and Shamekah McMillian of Knoxville, Tennessee, sister, Haley Estes of Lynch, KY, aunt, Kristy Estes of Cumberland, KY, uncles, Chris, Josh and Deshawn Estes, and William Phillips, whom she affectionately referred to as her "Uncle Junior," and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, beginning at 1 P.M. at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with Rev. Johnathan Monhollen officiating.

Covid-19 restrictions as set per the Governor of Kentucky and the CDC must be followed, 50% of building occupancy allowed and some form of face mask or covering must be utilized along with social distancing.
