Kenneth "Kenny" Cox

Kenneth F. “Kenny” Cox, age 42 of Cumberland, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Pikeville Medical Center.

He was born on July 15, 1974. He believed in the Baptist faith and had worked as a server for IHOP Restaurant in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He was an avid UK Sports fan and during his college years had earned a tennis scholarship from the Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Kenneth Gene Cox, Grandparents, Steve & Faye Bowman and Josie Cox.

He leaves to mourn his passing, Mother, Beverly Diane Webb of Lynch, KY, wife, Kristy Cox of Cumberland, KY, sons, Kenneth Porter of Alabama, Ronald Haywood of Knoxville, Tennessee and Joseph Bly Sergent of Cumberland, KY, daughter, Ryan Danielle Sergent of Barbourville, KY, sister, Stephanie Diane Hall of Cumberland, KY, step-sister, Genia Dudash of Kentucky, step-brother, Chris Webb of Corbin, KY, grandchildren, Jozlynn Sergent and Jaxon Storm Sergent both of Cumberland, KY, niece, Erin Cope and nephews, Zach & Jacob Dixon all of Richmond, KY, great niece, Harlyn Cope of Richmond, KY.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with Rev. Billy Fields officiating.
