Kathy Ann Duncan, age 62 of Cumberland, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Della Mae Hall Price. She was born on August 13, 1960, in Benham, Kentucky.
Kathy believed in the Pentecostal Faith and loved the Lord. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows, The Golden Girls and Reba. She liked working crossword puzzles, talking on the phone, doing her daily check-ups on all her family and friends. She loved a good cup of coffee, and spending family time together. She had an amazing outlook on life and depended on her strong Christian beliefs to help throughout her illness. She was loved by so many, her passing has left a void in our hearts, but her memory will forever live on.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Tim and sister, Geraldine.
She leaves behind a devoted husband, Gary Duncan, Sr., son, Gary “Boy” (Rachel) Duncan, Jr., daughter, Barbara (Jason) Letendre, brothers, Elmer and Jimmy Price, sister, Jeanette Price, special niece, Ashley Baldwin, sisters-in-law, Laura and Jamie Duncan, Susie Baldwin, Sissy Price, special friend, John Letendre, grandchildren, James “Robby” Griffey, Tristany Letendre and boyfriend Devin Lemke, Kiley and Tierra Letendre, Tommy Boggs, Jaiden Branson, Jaleigh Branson, Jonah Mumford, Suzy Mumford, Jordyn Duncan, great grandchildren, Taylynn and Braylon Lemke, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2023, beginning at 12 noon at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with funeral services following at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jacob Doyle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery in Cloverlick, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Ray Baldwin, Jason Letendre, Frank Baldwin, Wayne Price, Ricky Fields, James Thomas.
Honorary Pallbearers are Gary “Boy” Duncan, Jr., Tommy Boggs, Robby Griffey, Jonah Mumford and John Letendre.
