Kadince Tamara (Gilliam) Blair

Kadince Blair, age 32, departed this life on October 4, 2023, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
She was born on September 27, 1991, in Whitesburg, Kentucky. 
She is described by her family as a free spirit.  She had an outgoing personality that could light up a room.   She enjoyed traveling, reading, drawing, four-wheeling, listening to music, but most of all, spending time with her family and her dogs.    She had worked in the food industry and most recently as an administrative clerk for a Sanitation factory in Michigan.  From a small child, she had aspired to become a veterinarian, because her love for animals was so strong.  She was a beautiful, caring soul that was taken way too soon.   She will be forever remembered for her warm and loving smile and her memory cherished and held close to the hearts of her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Wilma Gilliam, sister, Makayla Gilliam and stepfather, Jimbo Poe.

She leaves behind her father, William (Sherry) Gilliam, mother, Tonya Blair-Poe, maternal grandfather, Winford Blair and maternal grandmother, Cora Lee Adams, sisters, Klarissa Blair, Lydia (Austin) Stoutt, Braelyn Gilliam, stepsisters, Lacy (Josh) Stone, Mareshah (Terry) Springer, a host of other relatives and friends.

She will be forever remembered for her warm and loving smile, her feistiness and the fierce way she loved.  Her memory will be cherished, and her life celebrated by her family and friends. 
How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church at 33 Blair Branch, Hwy. 7, Jeremiah, Kentucky 41826, beginning at 1 p.m.
