Julius Lee Neverstich, age 88, of Cumberland, KY, entered eternal peace on Monday, August 24, 2020, at the Tri-Cities Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Julius was born on May 12, 1932, unto the union of the late “Mato” Mike and Dona Schoonover-Neverstich in Lynch, Kentucky.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Johnny Neverstich.
Julius was a veteran of the United States Army and served proudly in the Korean War. Julius was a mechanic for Bradford Machine and Tool Company in Cincinnati, Ohio and later retired from Sears, Inc. He loved to read, write, and watch old movies. He believed in the Baptist faith.
Julius leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Jane of Cumberland, Kentucky, sister, Virginia Neverstich of Berea, Kentucky, nephew, Phillip (Kim) Calhoun of Lynch, KY.
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with Graveside services following at the Huff Cemetery in Cumberland, KY with Rev. Roger Colinger officiating.
The Family has asked that anyone attending the visitation or graveside service to please practice social distancing and to wear masks, as per Governor of KY and CDC recommendations.
