Joseph "Joe" Letanosky

Joseph Letanosky, 77, of Lynch, KY, passed from this life on Sunday, March 3rd at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. 

He was born unto the union of the late Louis John and Anna Alice Letanosky in Lynch, Kentucky on February 10, 1942.   Joseph believed in the Catholic faith and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Lynch, KY.   He was a member of the VFW Post 5171 of Cumberland, KY.   Joseph was a retired coal miner from US Steel and Arch of Kentucky.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Brenda Johnson Letanosky, sons, Ronald “Peewee” and Jamie Austin, brother Louis Edward Letanosky, sisters, Susie Huff and Elizabeth Boggs.

He is survived by son,  Richard Letanosky of Concord, NC, daughters, Merri Ann Oden of Dallas, GA, Sandi Jo Arrowsmith of Fort Payne, Alabama, Missy Austin of Cumberland, KY, Erika Letanosky of Lynch, KY and Bria Letanosky of Cumberland, KY, sister, Gladys Carroll of Shelbyville, Indiana, brothers-in-law, Ronald (Nancy) Johnson of Lynch, KY, Bubby Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Johnson of Pensacola, Florida, Doug Johnson of Cloverlick, KY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
