John Kelly

John Kelly, age 65 of Bell County, KY, passed from this life on September 29, 2021, at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.  He is the son of the late, John R. and Goldie Smith Kelly.
John was the Supervisor for GardaWorld Security.  He believed in the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and most outdoor activities. 

John is preceded in death by brothers, Roger, and David Kelly, sister, Jewel Kelly.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, wife, Janie Tolbert Kelly of Bell County, KY, sons, Ronald (Amanda) Tolbert of Partridge, KY, Cory Tolbert of Bell County, KY, Jonathan (Jessica) Kelly of Pennington Gap, VA, Shawn Kelly of Dryden, VA, Brad Kelly of Harlan, KY, daughters, Brianna Kelly of Bell County, KY, Shannon (Ben) Carver of Dryden, VA, Tonya (Ray Roberts) Kelly and Stephanie (Dwight) Willet all of Sweetwater, Tennessee, brother, Sam Kelly of Cumberland, KY, sisters, Shirley North of Hanna, Indiana, Janice (Butch) Arndt of Valparaiso, Indiana, Dorothy (David) Shepherd of Totz, KY, Norma Jean Kelly of Lexington, KY, two special grandchildren, Maysiegh and Jayhnnah, a host of other grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Tri-City Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at 11 a.m. from the church with Pastor Billy Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Alva Memorial Gardens at Blackstar, KY.

Anyone planning on attending is encouraged to wear a mask.
