Jettie (Sparkman) Cornett

Jettie Sparkman Cornett, age 71, of Gordon, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Eli and Evelyn Boggs Sparkman and the loving wife of the late Dailey Cornett.
She was born on October 24, 1950, and was a life-long resident of Gordon, Kentucky.

Jettie enjoyed reading, cooking, and was known to give out haircuts to her family and friends, it was something she really liked doing.   She also loved watching her Hallmark movies on television.   She was a kindhearted lady, a wonderful mother, and grandmother.   She will be missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Kenny (Sherry) Cornett of Gordon, Kentucky, daughter, Penny (Phillip) Capps of Weaverville, North Carolina, brothers, Sam Sparkman and Eli Sparkman both of Gordon, Kentucky, George Sparkman of Radcliff, Kentucky, sisters, Jackie Cornett and Judy Fields both of Gordon, Kentucky, Lucille Beal of Arizona, four grandchildren, Emily Begley, Hannah Begley, Autumn Cornett and Gracey Cornett, a host of other relatives and friends.

In following her wishes, there will be no service, a private family committal will be held.
