Jerry Wayne Nicholson

Jerry Wayne Nicholson, JR, age 52 of Cumberland, Kentucky passed from this life on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at his residence.

He was born on March 16, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a disabled coal miner for James River Coal Company. He had lived here for the past 29 years. He was an avid collector of guns and knives. He loved horses, four wheeling, fishing, camping, wood working and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Jean Click.

He is survived by his father & step-mother, Jerry SR & Norma Nicholson, of Liberty, Missouri, sisters, Karen (Lester) Palmer of Gladstone, Missouri, Tammie Stokes of Kansas City, Missouri, Erica (Henry) Eldridge of Lynch, KY, & Melissa Click of Slemp, KY, step-sisters, Janie (Wayne) Pierce of Austin, Texas, & Joy (Troy) Brooks of Kansas City, Missouri and his companion, Patricia Asher of Cumberland, KY, several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Monday, August 17, 20015, at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home in Cumberland, KY at 2 p.m.
