Jeanne (Jean) Halcomb, 61, of Lynch, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the UK Health Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Jeanne and her twin sister Joanne were born unto the union of the late George and Jewell Hornsby Rogers in Benham, Kentucky. Throughout the years, Jeanne and Joanne become known as the “outlaws”. Jeanne spent her life caring for her family. She believed in the Pentecostal faith.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her grandparents, King David and Louise Rogers and John L and Bessie Hornsby, husband, Charles Halcomb, brothers, Roy (Buddy) Rogers and George Michael Rogers, sister, Bessie Rogers, and grandchild Braden Howard.
She leaves to mourn her passing, daughters, Shannon (Steve) Watts of Cumberland, KY, Selena (Darrin) King of Jefferson City, TN, Sandra (Charles) Howard of Vine Grove, KY, special daughters, Chasta Steele and Cearra Tippett, sisters, Sandra Tippett of Cumberland, KY and Joanne (Gordon) Scarboro of Cumberland, KY, five grandchildren, Shane and Andia Watts, Macy Barrett, Briar Howard, and Dallas Jackson.
