Ms. Helen Duthe, age 97, wife of the late, Arnold Duthe of Roy McHargue Road, Lily, Kentucky, formerly of Gordon, Kentucky passed away on Saturday evening at her residence.
She was the mother of Herman McKnight of Lily, Kentucky. She was the grandmother of Laurie Kott and husband, Daniel of Lily, Kentucky and Cheryl McKnight of Macomb, Michigan. She was also blessed with three great grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Faith Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky.
Besides her husband, she is also preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Janie Smith Fox and by one grandson, Gregory McKnight. She is also preceded in death by several siblings.
Funeral services for Ms. Helen Duthe will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bennie Bush officiating. The family of Ms. Helen Duthe will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 8:00 p.m. at Laurel Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial for Ms. Helen Duthe will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Lewis Family Cemetery located on Sawmill Road in Gordon, Kentucky.
