Gaynell Halcomb

Gaynell Halcomb, age 64, of Linefork, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Gaynell was born on January 24, 1958, in Gordon, Kentucky.   She believed in the Old Regular Baptist Faith and had worked as a seamstress for S.E.K.R.I.   
Gaynell was known as a giver, having taken care of people that needed help, she was always there.  She loved a clean house, cooking good food, and most of all spending time with her grandbabies.   Gaynell brought a lot of joy into her family and friend’s lives.  She will be forever loved and missed. 

Gaynell is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Eversole Gilliam, stepdaughter, Ashley Osborne, brothers, Ronnie Dale and Roger Lee Halcomb.

Left to honor her memory, father, Harrison Gilliam of Cumberland, Kentucky, husband, Randy Halcomb of Linefork, KY, stepson, Randy Halcomb, JR of Linefork, KY, stepdaughters, Christina Osborne of Harlan, KY, Missy Osborne of Cumberland, KY, brother, Robert Halcomb of Louisville, KY, sisters, Rebecca Brewer of Louisville, KY, Elaine Fee of Gulston, KY, Robin Louise Halcomb of Totz, KY, Fannie Combs of Gordon, KY, grandchildren, Bailey and Jaxon Halcomb.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Combs/Halcomb Family Cemetery at Linefork, KY, with Brother Glenn Cornett officiating.
