Francis Louise Hayes

Francis Louise Hayes, age 64, passed away on December 22, 2024, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born on March 21, 1960, at the Harlan Hospital to the union of the late James Edward “Buck” and June Hall Shepherd.

Francis enjoyed camping, fishing, just being outside enjoying nature, going to yard sales and beating the family in a good game of dice. She loved her family with her whole heart and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hayes, siblings, Lawrence Shepherd and his wife, Martha, James Edward Shepherd and his wife, Becky, Brenda Sue Mowery and husband John “Mow”, sister-in-law, Dana Shepherd, nephew, James David Thacker and nieces, Penny Deal and Jenny Shepherd.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Tony Harris, daughters, Tonya Harris and Tina Belt, grandchildren, Kelsey Harris, Jacob Harris, Sabrina Franks, Dalton Combs, Navaeh Couch, Cory Couch and Kira Belt, great grandchildren, Jozlynn Sergent, Kambrya Williams and Lila Franks, sisters, Carolyn Hall, Sandra Shepherd and brother, David Shepherd, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

There will be no services at this time, however, an inurnment date will be announced soon.
