Elmer L Brown

Elmer L. Brown, age 73, of West Sandhill Road, Cumberland, KY, passed from this life on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on January 18, 1944, unto the union of the late Anderson and Mae Lewis Brown. He was a retired coal miner at Scotia Coal Company. He believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Tri-City Pentecostal Church in Cumberland, KY. He loved playing the banjo and wood working.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Marie Brown and a son, Elmer Dennis Brown; four brothers; Jack Brown, Ralph Brown, Walter Brown and Herbert Brown; two sisters, Minerva Cole and Lucille Boggs.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Lucille Brown, of Cumberland, KY; five daughters, Angela Kaye Pendleton, of Partridge, KY; Tracy Cox, Louan Brown, Leian Nantz and Jessica Shepherd, all of Cumberland, KY; two brothers, Carlos Brown, of Cumberland, KY and Willis Brown, of Calhoun, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Tri-City Pentecostal Church in Cumberland, KY with Brother Billy Lewis officiating.
