Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Boggs, age 55 of Totz, Kentucky, heard God’s call and passed peacefully at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington on the early morning of Saturday, January 6, 2024.
She was the daughter of the late Billy Joe, Sr. and Wilma Woods McDaniels. She was a hard-working lady all her life. She had worked previously as a custodian at Scotia Mines, cake decorator and ice cream bar manager at Dairy Queen and most recently retired from Food City in Harlan as the lead baker and cake decorator for over twenty plus years. She enjoyed making candy, baking, decorating cakes, housekeeping, taking care of her family and visiting Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She loved the Lord and her church family with all her heart. She always had a smile and kind words to offer. She was one of a kind and her absence will forever be felt by her family and friends.
She is also preceded in death, by her first husband, Otto Johnson, brother, Billy Joe McDaniels, Jr., sister, Karen Reynolds.
She leaves to honor and cherish her memory, husband, David Boggs of Totz, KY, sons, Justin Alan McDaniels of Owensboro, KY, David Lee Boggs of La Porte, Indiana, sister, Debbie (Robert) McMillian of Cawood, Kentucky, her loving fur babies, Roscoe, Misty, Bear and Sassy, a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery at Hiram, Kentucky.
