Effie Cress

Effie Cress, age 79, formerly of Delphia, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Cumberland Village Nursing Facility in Lafollete, Tennessee following a long illness.  

She was born on June 28, 1938,  unto the union of the late Charles and Stella Hall McNulty.   She was a member of the Stoney Fork Baptist Church and had worked as a retail associate for the Salvation Army.   She loved flowers of all kinds and loved to collect antiques.     

She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Shepherd, brothers, James & Bobby Wayne McNulty, sister, Cleda Smith.

She leaves to mourn her passing, husband, HC Cress of Speedwell, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
