Doris Evelyn McQueen, age 74 of Cumberland, Kentucky
entered eternal peace on Monday, February 10, 2020, at
her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 4, 1945, unto the union of the late
Bernie and Lora Reynolds Todd. She was a member of the
Cumberland Pentecostal Church and loved the Lord.
When Doris wasn’t celebrating Christ, she could be found
in the kitchen baking a chocolate cake and enjoying a cup of coffee.
She always made the grandchildren a cake for visits and special
occasions. She will truly be missed.
Doris is preceded in death by brothers, Raymond, Milford and Boone, sisters, Hester Smith,
Zelma Smith, Edith Powers, Gladys Lockherd.
She leaves to mourn her passing, husband of Fifty-seven years, Pidgie Joe McQueen,
son, Ricky (Tammy) McQueen, Robert McQueen both of Cumberland, KY, daughters,
Joann (Wade) Farley of Williamstown, KY, Sherry McQueen of Benham, KY,
brothers, Sonny Todd of Indianapolis, Indiana, Robert Todd of Cincinnati, Ohio,
sister, Faye Baker of Cincinnati, Ohio, seven grandchildren, eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2020, from 12 noon until the funeral hour of 1 p.m. with Rev. Ricky Cope officiating.
Burial will follow in the Raleigh Cemetery at Partridge, KY.
