David Alan Owens

David Alan Owens, age 60 of 308 Blair Street, Cumberland, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, after a long illness.
He was born November 18, 1954. He served in the Army for four years and was a good honest man that believed in God.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Owens, brothers, Gary & Rick Owens.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Owens, mother, Betty Owens both of Cumberland, KY, daughters, Karen (Israel) Gomez of Lexington, KY and Alexis... Owens of Cumberland, KY, sons, Steven Cornett of Lincoln Park, Michigan, Christopher (Sasha) Owens, Brian Owens both of Cumberland, KY, brother, Jim (Beverly) Owens of Richmond, KY, sisters, Chrissy (Joey) McKenzie of Louisville, KY, Sherry (Rodney) Sturgill and Kimberly Owens all of Cumberland, KY, grandchildren, Brittany Featherstone, Daniella Gomez and Camilla Owens.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Saturday, May 23, 2015, from 11 am until the funeral hour at 1 p.m.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.
