DUE TO POTENTIAL STORM AND INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE FAMILY HAS DECIDED TO CHANGE SERVICE DATES AND TIMES FOR EVERYONES SAFETY.
Darrell Fox, age 79 of Gordon, Kentucky, entered eternal peace on February 6, 2021, at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY.
He was born unto the union of the late Sherman and Janie Smith Fox on April 9th, 1941. He was retired from the Chrysler Corporation, where he worked at the Warren Dodge Truck plant in Warren, Michigan for over thirty years of dedicated service. He believed in the Baptist faith and was a loving, honorable, hard working husband and father. He will be greatly missed.
He is also preceded in death by brothers, Howard and James “Buck” Fox, sister, Bernice Fox.
Darrell leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of sixty years, Wanda Mae Lewis Fox of Gordon, KY, sons, Gary (Michelle) Fox of Texas, Michael (April) Fox of Kentucky, sisters, Helen Duthe of Kentucky, Lillian (Gene) Berger of Ohio, grandchildren; Jennifer (John) Brownlee of Georgia, Renee (Marcus) Smith of Florida, Erica Fox of Colorado, Christopher Fox of North Carolina, Alec Rinko Fox of Michigan, Ava Fox of Kentucky, great grandchildren; Jack Brownlee, Madelynn Brownlee, Ivy Brownlee all of Georgia, Ezekial Smith and Declan Smith both of Florida.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 12th, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13th, 2021, beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home with Brother Mark Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery on Sawmill Road, Gordon, KY.
