Christopher Allen Adams, age 50, of Cumberland, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 24, 1973, to the union of Rodney Adams and Shelia Morris Edwards.
Christopher had lived in Richmond, Kentucky until 2022, when he decided to move back to this area. He had worked as a Depot Mechanic for the United States Army. He played an intricate part in the Wounded Warriors Program for over 21 years. He was a member of the Benham Masonic Lodge #880, in Benham, Kentucky. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family and was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball and Football fan. Christopher had such a warm and inviting personality. He knew exactly how to bring a smile to one’s face and love to their heart. He was one of a kind and this world is a better place because of the imprint he has left.
Christoper is preceded in death by his father, Rodney Adams, brothers, Rodney Steven Adams, Chadwick Shane Adams and John David Blair, paternal grandfather, Dale Adams, maternal grandparents, Denver and Edna Morris.
He leaves to mourn his passing. his loving mother, Shelia Morris Edwards of Cumberland, Kentucky, grandmother, Evelyn Adams of Benham, Kentucky, his companion, Regina Cornett and her granddaughter, Gracie Harris, who cherished him, daughters, Lyndsay Adams and Ashlyn Adams both of Richmond, Kentucky, devoted cousin, Rebecca (Jerome) Banks of Cumberland, Kentucky, nieces, Morgan Branscum of Oneida, Tennessee, Shawnessi Stidham of Hazard, Kentucky, nephew, Justin Adams of Cumberland, Kentucky, a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
In following Christophers wishes, a private graveside burial will be held at the Green Morris Family Cemetery.
