Charles Michael Henery

Charles Michael Henery, age 48, of Cumberland, KY, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at his residence.  He was born on August 27, 1972, in Harlan, KY.
Charles believed in the Pentecostal faith and had worked as a construction and carpentry worker.   He enjoyed life and loved his family dearly.   

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Sue Henery and grandfather, Charles H. Henery.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, grandmother, Lizzie Mae Henery of Cumberland, Kentucky, daughter, Ariel Henery of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, sons, Michael Smith of Dalton, Georgia, Layklen Henery of Dalton, Georgia, brother, John Gilley of Indiana, sister, Dia Chastain of Georgia, grandchildren, Chandler Lee Anderson, Kaydence Ailene Mefford, Chance Dawson Ray Anderson, (unborn) Savannah Breanna Anderson, Kirestan Smith, special nieces, Alyssia Russell, Diamond Chastain, several nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 26, 2021, at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home beginning at 11 a.m. with funeral services starting at 1 p.m.  Brother Billy Lewis officiating.  Interment was held in the Creech Maggard Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.
