Bruce Kirby

Bruce Kirby, age 79, of London, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Jackie Dunaway Kirby; one sister, Kaye Moss & husband Jewett of Paintsville, KY; his brother-in-law, Jim Dunaway; his nephews, Todd Blevins, Mike Dunaway, Jay Dunaway, Kirby Moss, Matthew Moss; his nieces, Lisa Caudill, Susie Taylor, Kathy King, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruby Maggard Kirby.
Bruce was a former teacher and businessman. He loved to drive, and had a tremendous sense of humor.

He always encouraged people and made them smile.

Funeral services for Bruce Kirby will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Todd Blevins, pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Winchester, Kentucky, officiating. Burial will follow at D. L. Creech Cemetery in Cumberland, Kentucky. Pallbearers include Mike Dunaway, Jay Dunaway, Chris Lewis, Kirby Moss, Matthew Moss and Chris King. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
