Brenda Faye Baldwin

Brenda Faye Skeens Baldwin, age 70, of Cumberland, Kentucky, entered the Heavenly gates on Sunday, July 9th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 6, 1952, in Kingsport, Tennessee unto the union of the late John A. and Maggie Kiser Skeens.   She was a very loving, caring mother.  She was a generous lady that loved reading her Bible and talking about the Lord.  She enjoyed listening to the older country music songs and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Baldwin, Sr., son, John Junior Baldwin, sister, Sue Hudson, and grandson, Jared Scott Carruba.

Left to honor her memory, sons, Jimmy Baldwin, Jr. of Cumberland, Kentucky, James Gray Meade of Cumberland, Kentucky, Johnny Gray of Harlan, Kentucky, daughters, Maggie (Steve) Perkins of Cranks, Kentucky, Sue (Trent) Cooper of Cumberland, Kentucky, Bessie (Kevin) Brown of Rockholds, Kentucky, honorary sons, Scottie Carruba of Cumberland, Kentucky, Benny Graham of Speedwell, Tennessee, brother, John Skeens of Kingsport, Tennessee, sisters, Minnie Spitzer, Stella (Jimmy) Salyers, Martha Gray all of Kingsport, Tennessee, eighteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 13th, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Elder Glenn Cornett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Baldwin-Thacker Cemetery at Cranks, Kentucky.
