Bob Shields

Bob Shields, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 28, 1943, in Cumberland, KY unto the union of the late Roy & Susie Shields. He was a retired coal miner for Carson Robbins Coal Company and a member of the Cumberland Church of God.

In addition to his parents, his twin brother precedes him in death.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Spicie, two sons James and Billy Joe, and daughter Thelma (Joe) Boggs, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and best friend, Wayne (Debbie) Creech.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with Joe Boggs officiating.

Burial will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.

Family and Friends will serve a pallbearers.
