Anna "Bootie" Henderson

Anna D. "Bootie" Henderson, age 80 of Lynch, Kentucky, passed from this life on September 16, 2015.

She was born on February 17, 1935, in Lynch, Kentucky. She had been employed at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital in Environmental Services for many years and later at the Harlan County School District up until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Johnny L. Henderson.

She leaves to mourn her passing, seven sons: Douglas (Eva) Stewart of Springfield, OH, Curtis (Camille) Stewart, SR of Clarksville, IN, Roger Stewart of Lynch, KY, Jeffrey Stewart of Mableton, GA, Terry (Pamela) Stewart of Lynch, KY, Michael (Pamela) Stewart, SR of Mabelvale, AR and Timothy Henderson of Dayton, OH, two daughters: Linda (Curt) Cook of Lynch, KY and Sharon (Bruce) Crosby of Louisville, KY, sister, Fannie L. Merritt of Huntsville, AL, aunt, Geraldine Riggins of Cleveland, OH, uncle, Gilbert Funderburk of Wooster, OH, thirty grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, a host of other family & friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 19th, 2015, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Lynch from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 pm at the funeral home with Minister Lena C. Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland, KY.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Stewart, Curtis Stewart, SR, Roger Stewart, Jeffrey Stewart, Terry Stewart, Michael Stewart, SR & Timothy Henderson.
