Anna Ruth Deal

Anna Ruth Deal, age 80 of Cumberland, Kentucky, entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.  

She was born on October 5, 1942, in Benham, Kentucky, to her late parents, Elmer and Virginia Hall.   She enjoyed flower gardening, being outdoors, and fishing.  She loved to travel.  It did not make any difference where you were going, if she had a seat in the car, she was happy. 

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, James Russell Deal, son, Russell Elmer “Pee Wee” Deal, brother, Carl “Babe” Hall.

Left behind to cherish her memory, son, James Allen “Ral” (Melissa) Deal of Cumberland, Kentucky, stepdaughter, Jaime Deal Marlow of Oklahoma, step grandchildren, Andrew Brown of Stanton, Kentucky and Haley Brown of Eolia, Kentucky, her fur baby, Harley, a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home with Burial following in the Monte Vista Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and son.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
